Morning After

I spoke to my good friend David last night. He mentioned a song associated with the movie “The Poseidon Adventure”. I remember the movie, vaguely. I remember the song. I went to YouTube and looked up the song. I rented the movie. These past few days had been a challenge. I felt uneasy. I needed to get back to nature. This morning, my eyes opened a 4:30 am. I headed to Calico Basin next to Red Rock Canyon half asleep. I was not sure that I would be able to get any good photographs. I was wrong! As I walk around, the bird songs woke me up. My “photography eyes” started to open. I was able to see “images”. The grass overgrowth on the boardwalk caught my attention. I had been to the open board many times, but today, with the right timing, I got a different shot. There you go, the morning after, there will always be sunshine.
