WELCOME

This is my first blog for this new website. I am super excited! I just had my conference call with the project manager, and I can’t believe that this dream of mine having a personal website will be a reality soon!

I love photography. I love black and white or monochrome photography. I recently bought a Leica Q2 monochrome camera which only produce monochrome pictures, obviously. I am very impulsive when it comes to buying stuff, but it took me a whole weekend to make the decision.

Since I bought the camera, I took it to Las Vegas Blvd. I am presently starting a new book. It is called “The Sinners”, a stroll along Las Vegas Blvd. I would like to showcase the Strip in black and white. Basically, it is Street Photography. What I learned in that Saturday morning was that whereas in the past, I do not like “photobombers”. In this new project, I totally welcome them!

Then as I was chatting with my wife regarding Boudoir Photography.  She got excited and said, “Let’s do it!” So that is the second project that I am doing. Many of the photographs are for her eyes only. We did come up with a few that she is willing to share with the public.

Recently, I had a hard time classifying myself as who am I? I wrote poems. I am a poet. I take photographs. I am a photographer. I write flash fiction and short stories. I am a writer. I paint acrylic and watercolor paintings. I am a painter. In the end, the best way to describe myself is that I am an artist. Creativity is my lifeline. Although I am trained to be a physician, the artist in me helped me and my patients navigate the challenging world of health care.
